		<description>Very good article. I&#039;ve enjoyed Ballard&#039;s fiction for 30 years. In 1979 (aged 20) I discovered Ballard by simply browsing through his book &quot;The Atrocity Exhibition&quot; in my local bookshop. I immediately felt an affinity with his unique take on &quot;reality&quot;. It&#039;s wonderful when something like that happens.
 &quot;The Atrocity Exhibition&quot; was a great introduction to his work. It has everything. It&#039;s  intense, compressed, obsessive, surrealistic, and prophetic. I could go on....</description>
