Artist Party This is a truly glorious picture that appeared during the Thai general election. (click here for larger image). It's of Vasan Sitthiket, an established Thai artist who set up the Artist Party as an antidote to the increasingly slick presentation of candidates and policies. It's not so much a party as a statement: "I want to remind Thai politicians that the government is not a giant corporation for them to use in their quest for power, fame and wealth." You can read the full interview with Vasan Sitthiket on the Bangkok Post site. Also worth googling his name to find some images of his interesting activist art.
