WG Sebald killed in car crash

Terrible news from the New York Times. The Norwich-based German author WG Sebald has been killed in a car crash. The BBC picked up on the story much later.

I have put my review of his latest novel Austerlitz on my own little site before it appears on Spike. The question in the final paragraph will now never be answered.
