CentralBooking.com provides an in-depth collection of info about various authors - it seems to be in its early stages but looks very promising. [update - er, it's actually CentralBooking, not Bookings as I posted originally. Sorry about that]
I’ve also just set up a first stab at a new book list on Amazon - “If You Like Irvine Welsh, You’ll Probably Like This“. I think there’s a lot of list fun to be had here, not only for recommendations but also confessions - seriously considering putting together a “Great Works Of Literature That I Will Never Read” list next.
