Harold Thanks to 3AM Magazines blog Buzzwords …

Harold

Thanks to 3AM Magazines blog Buzzwords for pointing me toward The Guardians recent, post-chemo interview with Harold Pinter. The man is a Godsend to a rational understanding of whats going on, in an existential as well as political sense. The story of the Serbian marketplace resonates, and Pinters subsequent suggestion is spot on. It will upset good boys like James D. Hudnall in his hilariously, tragically, nave blog (the initial is a bit of spanner-giveaway though isn’t it?): of the coming war, he writes:

It’s not something any of us want to be in or fight in, but it’s a fact that sometimes there’s only one way to take out despots in power. Many, many people have starved to death, watched friends or children die, lived lives of horror and poverty because of people like Saddam Hussein, yet so many in the west don’t want these criminal rulers touched. It makes you wonder how moral they really are.

Ever thought about not installing them in the first place James? You never know, it might just work.

Hes also added a piece of his own fiction for our appreciation. My conclusion: literature has nothing to fear from Mr Hudnall.

On a lighter note, Ive lost some weight.
