First Class!

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

A picture of Chris at the helm of SpikeMagazine? No, but near enough. This is the first publicity shot from the new, world-historical series of I’m Alan Partridge starring Steve Coogan as the washed-up neurotic has-been wannabe TV presenter. Starts Monday night, BBC2, 10pm. To misuse an exchange between Chris Morris and his Crisis Correspondent Spartacus Mills on The Day Today:

CHRIS: This is huge history happening, isn’t it?

SPARTACUS MILLS: It’s bigger than that, Chris, it’s large. If you’ve got a history book at home, take it out, throw it in the bin - it’s worthless. The history books will now have to be rewritten.
