Splinters

The current TLS runs a review of Derrida: the movie. The reviewer refers to a Raymond Tallis in the second sentence. If you don't know already, he's the TLS's anti-postmodernism troubleshooter. Here's an example of his work. He doesn't list the names of those he calls "over-rated calumniators of humanity" but Derrida will be one of them for sure. For what it's worth, I don?t agree with Tallis. I think the real danger comes from scientists. Saddam hasn't employed French philosophers in his WMD programme, has he? Maybe that's something for Hans Blix to answer.
