Splinters

I won't add a comment about RM Berry's essay The Avant-Garde and the Question of Literature, except that it's ten times better than the title implies. I mentioned another of his essays back then. He writes about a lot of modern US novelists, mostly unknown to me. The latest is Carole Maso. Dare I say her work looks "interesting"? Any opinions on it?
