A correspondent on Medialens wonders "why do gay politicos believe so passionately in Tony Blair?" There's Peter Mandelson and his chum Ben Bradshaw of course, but on the wider (political) scene there's Andrew Sullivan. The people who reply tend to say the obvious politically-correct things, and they're correct to do so. This is nothing to do with sexuality. After all, there are a lot of women on board too, who speak in a highly-controlled, rhetorical style, like that smarmy baroness who took over from Clare Short. I think it's actually more to do with Camp Culture. That's all about show, dressing up and pretending. It's all spin; there is no substance. I'll leave the greasy pole jokes to others. Chris?
