Astride the grave
The Independent reviews Last Landscapes: The Architecture of the Cemetery in the West by Ken Worpole. The book “explores the anthropology, literature and politics of death, and leaves the reader full of afterthoughts” the review says. It also claims that “Worpole has written one of the most thoughtful and thought-provoking books of this year”.
I’m sure there’s a few good puns waiting to be made into a headline, but I can’t think of even one. Any offers?
