Sea food

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

Octopus is a smart new poetry magazine featuring, in the latest issue, among many others, three poems by French OuLiPo star Jacques Roubaud (see also my review-essay on his great novel The Great Fire of London).

Why is it called Octopus? Let the magazine explain: “Octopus is an online poetry magazine named after a sea creature that is intelligent, lives in dens, and uses ink as a defense mechanism. Every issue features a combination of 8.”
