A translation

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

I’ve heard that Power and Glory by Adam Nicolson, about the making of the King James Bible, is very good. Nicholas Lezard reviews the paperback. He observes that the “book does not contain very much close textual comparison and exegesis, which … is disappointing.” And, as those around him start slowly to move away, adds “I think … that close textual comparison and exegesis can be rather exciting.”
