Clerkenwell Literary Festival

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

Because it was cheap, I stayed in a Clerkenwell hotel once. That’s the only reason I know where it is. Peter Ackroyd wrote a novel about it recently, of course. The Clerkenwell Tales. Anyway, there’s a Clerkenwell Literary Festival on early next month. It looks like fun; even my landlady is on the bill!
