Poems for the Stone Lady

Dante wrote much more than the Divine Comedy. Not much of it is cheaply available in translation other than La Vita Nuova. And I’ve never seen his Poems for the Stone Lady anywhere until I found these translations.

Oh, if I could but seize those lovely tresses

which have become both whip and lash for me

Oo-er.
