Belle de Jour
Gutted. Just found out Belle de Jour has ended her blog. Her book is due in January so perhaps there’s a chance of a spike interview. But a book is a dead thing, edited and shrinkwrapped and old before it’s new. Hers was one of the very few blogs that was fresh and vital. Maybe because it was a diary in the old fashioned sense rather than the usual self-reflexive blog linkfest. The search begins for something else…
