My enemy’s enemy is my … er, enemy

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

As I write this, along the seafront Countryside Alliance filth are demonstrating to protect their right to torture and maim as Blair makes his cringe-making speech. I can hear the police helicopter circling. I don’t know who I hate more. Probably the former as they are probably pro-war too.

Coincidentally, I have an identical situation in the blogosphere. I notice we have a few visitors from the New Cretin’s blog. I don’t really understand why there is a link to Splinters. The blog’s author seems to be assuming that I (that is me, not Spike, because Chris is Spike) am in favour of something, but I don’t know what it is. (My own assumption is that it’s McSweeney’s. So I want to point out that I think that that publication and all it stands for is as wrong-headed as the ULA - scroll to July 24th’s entry - to whose tiresome blog the NC links). Perhaps somebody can clarify for me.
