You’ll never walk alone
Music breaks my heart for the third time in three days. Last night it was This Mortal Coil’s version of Roy Harper’s Another Day, the night before last it was the silence. Tonight Spoilt Victorian Child does it by posting an mp3 of Low’s live Peel Show version of Pink Floyd’s peerless song Fearless (scroll toward the end of the post). I heard it on the night and was deeply moved. It’s great to have this recording: hearing Peel’s voice again for the first time since his death is comforting in a miserable kind of way.
