World Service

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

The BBC’s World Service has, in its vaults, three half hour shows recorded by John Peel before he left for his fateful holiday. The first can be heard in the archives. His funeral is next Friday in Bury St. Edmunds Cathedral. Peel would probably want the emphasis to be on the first three letters of the event. However, there isn’t much fun to be had from today’s post on him at This Space.
