Breakfast With Hunter

Written by:Chris Mitchell.

Oh my god. How did I not know about this before? Breakfast With Hunter is a feature length documentary about Dr Hunter. S. Thompson. It was originally released in 2003 and is now out on DVD. From the reviews already on the official Breakfast With Hunter site, it looks good. There’s apparently a sequence featuring P.J. O’Rourke and HST discussing “journalism, drugs and writing” - I’ve always wanted to see the two of them together. Must. have. DVD. All I need first is a DVD player. And a TV. And a house…

Which reminds me, I still haven’t seen Derrida the movie yet either. Would make me truly happy to see these two films back to back. (Also just reminded me of my fave recent Onion headline: ‘ Jacques Derrida “Dies”‘)
