OuLiPo gets TV mention

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

Watching The Real DaVinci Code on Channel 4 just now and Tony Robinson (Baldrick in Blackadder) covers the French claim to the Holy Grail. It’s fake apparently, one of the fakers being in on it because he was “a member of a Surrealist group called Oulipo”. Robinson then gets all worked up about Surrealism, which he connects to post-war British comedy. However, this has very little (and almost nothing) to do with OuLiPo. Christ almighty.
