Long Live Principle: Lenin reads Hitchens

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

My hero at Lenin’s Tomb responds to Christopher Hitchens’ article in support of New Labour in the run up to the -stifles yawn- General Election.

You know, you US Americans are very lucky to have Hitchens, despite his faults. Over here, his younger, uglier brother Peter (think Prince Harry to Christopher’s William) was on TV the other day ranting about the dark influence on British life of “Brussels” (the Little Englanders’ synecdoche for all that threatens our grey and unpleasant land). How one longs for big brother’s elegance instead!
