Splinters

The British political author Mark Curtis has begun a blog at Medialens (to add to those already in progress) with a succinct analysis of the attorney general's advice to the government on the legality of the coming invasion of Iraq. The blog's focus and clarity on the issue is nowhere matched by the corporate media. Yesterday I saw Sky's Adam Boulton dismissing any controversy and saying the document backed Blair's position all along, while the BBC's Andrew Marr's coverage would be considered incompetent journalism if he wasn't writing what is effectively a gossip column.
