Banned from my own comments software

Marvellous. Haloscan has switched on some new software that's stopping me posting comments. Comment spam has started again, so I guess it's time to look for a different system.

Here's what I was going to write in response to comments on the Haunted post below:

If it's all true, I'm not sure that would count as hyping it. Plus you're a mother, so you've probably got a stronger stomach than most.

Re Ana María:
I think you should have made up some particularly unpleasant audience reaction, just to make his story even more grande guignol than it was already. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story...

I've yet to read "Guts", but Chuck's description of his reader response has made it pretty much an imperative.

Was the reading fun? I presume he must be pretty charismatic in real life."

Something off the cuff has now turned into its own monolithic blog post. Sheesh...
