A surplus of blogs
But what kind of surplus! Paul Kerschen has begun one that translates, each new day, an entry from Kafka's Diaries. It begins in 1910, so there's a way to go before the entry for August 2, 1914 (let alone 19th September 1917): Germany has declared war on Russia - Swimming in the afternoon.
The link came via wood s lot, always a great source; particularly if what you really need is a translation of Kafka's diaries AND "a Windows application designed for junior resource companies in the western United States, which keeps track of filing deadlines for unpatented mining claims and supplies a digest of federal and state mining law". Mr Kerschen has made one of them too!
