Lars Iyer of Spurious has posted a series of remarkable meditations on a couple of recent novels by one of Britain’s best and most neglected novelists. I was particularly taken with his post The Egg Marketing Board in which he comes to understand what distinguishes these novels from the prize-winning pap of Ian McEwan et al.
