The blood-dimmed tide

Written by:Stephen Mitchelmore.

Much anger has been expressed at Parliament’s eminently sensible rejection of Blair’s deranged legislation to detain innocent people for months on end without charge. I’m curious how the organs manufacturing the anger will respond to Iran’s apparently premature release today of a British couple (spies, obviously). The Iranian’s neighbours have been invaded by these loons who are also allied to a nation bent on destroying their own country. Yet they release them in only 14 days. Damn liberals!

To gauge the quality of intellect on offer in the debate, check out the BBC’s Have Your Say page on the legislation vote. The word ‘losing’ appears seven times, including once in the title. Yet twice it is spelt ‘loosing’ by pro-internment members of the Great British public. We’re domed I tell you, domed.
