Koji Suzuki: The Ring

Interesting interview with Japanese horror novelist Koji Suzuki in The Daily Yomiuri. I didn’t realise The Ring had been so successful as to be translated into 17 languages - but Suzuki doesn’t really care about the horror genre itself and the interviewer maintains his books are actually a great depiction of modern-day Japan.
