Mr Twat reads Paul Auster
I’ve never forgiven Matt Thorne for the drearily conservative New Puritans literary manifesto of years ago or yesterday. He also trots out the usual middle-class inverted snobbishness about genre fiction. This interview was the final straw man. Like his mates, who have also published - with corporate regularity - lightweight novels with lots of references to popular culture, he seems more interested in his audience than the novel. Hence this unusual review of Paul Auster’s The Brooklyn Follies.

FEB who or whatever you are, perhaps you need a screen reader. If you actually *read* the words I wrote, you might notice I didn’t say the review was unfunny. I said it was ‘unusual’. Like Thorne, you seem read what you want to read rather than what’s there.
