*blushes*

Keep it up, I love it. I thrive on praise and high marks - like Lisa Simpson. You should see me in college at nights - always the first with my hand up, "me sir, me sir, I know the answer".

Yes, Lenin's ommision was shameful I thought.

Johann was initially credulous about the Iraqi invasion, but its good to see him recognising his errors. His support always seemed more nuanced than the likes of Aaronovitch, Hitchens at el. Heaven hath more joy at the sinner that repenteth etc.

He's still a bit "centrist" for my tastes and too ready to give Blair the benefit of the doubt, but I find him a very engaging, entertaining and likeable writer.

He does very good in depth reports on stuff that often falls off the radar like the scandal of low paid piece-rate workers, abuse of aslyum seekers, and the madness of the climate change deniers in the US.

His cultural spots are always of interest too, even if I don't always agree with them. This spot about both Rome and BBC's "Rome" is very good indeed.

http://www.johannhari.com/archive/article.php?id=718
