Bono the philanthropist is flawed and annoying (massive understatement) but Geldof is in fact far worse; claiming the G8 leaders’ piss-poor reponse to Live8 (not far off the bare minimum possible) as a victory, while, er, almost every single leader of even the most mainstream charities virulently condemned it.
