Alasdair Gray Lithographs

If you're rich and smart, you will buy a lithograph by Alasdair Gray.

And in ten years' time, you will call my agent and set up a pub meet.

I will buy you a pint, and you will hand me a pristine lithograph by Alasdair Gray.

Deal? Deal.

But if you're just smart, you will read some of Gray's later poetry, newly added to his official website.

The lithographs are not very good. Allthough the one on the left appears to be an outtake from ‘The Joy of Sex’

Still he is a good writer though.

    All from Unlikely Stories. Wooh.

Well, I for one like ‘em. Can’t really explain why but I do.

“Domestic Conversation” looks great to me.

And the cover for “Poor Things” would look quite nice as well.

And, at reduced prices, those author images Gray did for “The Book of Prefaces” would surely have a market outside of hardcore fans.

    And… and…! ;)

Ismo: Oh gosh, yes. If you’re in Scotland, the University of Stirling owns the orinal frontispieces from “Lanark”. They hang in their English department. Go drool.
