Kurt Vonnegut takes on semi-colons and Swedes

Written by:Ben Granger.

Entertaining ramblings from the ever-admirable Kurt Vonnegut today, as the Guardian publishes an extract taken from his new book A Man Without A Country. I particularly like his story graphs, and his description of semi-colons as “transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you’ve been to college.” Hear hear, I’ve been grappling with those tricksy bastards my whole life. Not any more!
