A Kurt Goodbye

Written by:Ben Granger.

I have nothing of note to add, but would nonetheless like to join Ready Steady Book and 3:AM in paying tribute to the memory of Kurt Vonnegut who has died at the age of 84. The only novel I’ve read of his was Slaughterhouse 5, and cliche it may be, but that is one of those books that does make a profound impression on you, and its memory has stuck hard with me since my teens. Very satisfying that this wise and funny man managed to get a few broadsides out against the Bush gang before he died.
