Leonard Cohen Live At Last
A mere 16 years since the last tour, Leonard Cohen is taking to the road again. This is probably the final time you’ll get the chance to see him live - I saw him on The Future tour at the Royal Albert Hall in 1992 and it was spectacular. Part of me wants to go and see him playing in the Manchester Opera House in June, as I’ll be visiting the UK then - but part of me thinks maybe it’s better to leave the memories of the last gig alone.
As Leonard said on being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame alongside Madonna - “This is a very unlikely occasion for me”.
And indeed, I bet Len was suitably impressed by Madonna asking Iggy Pop to perform Like A Virgin…
