Splinters

This is a song called 'Jet Set Junta' by the wonderful Monochrome Set, oft-overlooked post-punk proto-indie satirists.

It depicts a country being taken over by a  sadistic clique of public school boys with an  overwheening sense of self-entitlement. With no principles beyond their own self-enrichment, they  defend their extravagant privilege by brutally supressing the lower orders.
