Splinters

Slavoj Zizek is interviewed in today's Observer, and presents his usual firecracker contrarian face of philosophy to the world. I can't quite make my mind up as to whether his brand of controversialist paradox is a good thing for the intellectual left or not, whether there's a substance beneath the brilliant surface. He's consistently good entertainment value though, and here is no exception.
